If your computer has any Plextor devices installed such as Plextor Video Capture devices, or optical disc drives, or if you have any other Plextor hardware, you could benefit from using their Plextools software. Plextools Professional is a set of recording tools you can use to create your multimedia, video and audio projects. This program also provides you with the option of updating your drive's firmware ensuring you always have the latest version.
The program has been specifically designed to support Plextor hardware and its new interface layout command controls are easy to use. It features a Multimedia Player for playing your midi, audio and video files and an Audio Player to play back your AudioCDs. You can create your personal CDs in the program's AudioCD Maker application from WAV, MP3, OFF, WMA or APE files, and this application provides editable CD Text or ID-3 tag and freedb support. You can also create standard CDs and DVDs by using the program's Disc Maker feature, or copy discs using the Disc Copy feature. All three of those features have a Verify Function that allows you to test a blank disc before writing to it. The program also features Multi Video Capture enabling you to preview or capture from 4 video sources, and a Video Preview with full scale and full screen mode is available as well as many diagnostic functions.
